This piece is sealed for protection and made to be functional yet expect it show signs of wear over time (especially if its outside in the elements and used by real birds). Uneven edges and small natural imperfections are the hallmark of this handmade piece inspired by the philosophy of
wabi-sabi.
Paper mache is a very durable yet lightweight sustainable material, however it can chip or break if misused. All my paper mache pieces are made by scratch from recycled materials and sealed for protection. Keep away from direct moisture and sun. Clean with a dry soft cloth or brush.
